Folklorisation in the Current Emerging Global Space: Quo Vadis?
The 2016 Southern African Folklore Society Conference was held from 24â€“28 October at the Bolivia Lodge in Polokwane. The conference was co-hosted by the School of Human and Social Sciences of the University of Venda, and the Faculty of Humanities of the University of Limpopo. The purpose of the conference was to attract scholars and researchers from various disciplines, and to bring together a cohort of established and emerging researchers in one assembly to deliberate on topics related to the theme and sub-themes of the conference. The theme of the conference was Folklorisation in the Current Emerging Global Space: Quo Vadis?
